OUR 7 CORE VALUES

  • God's glory

We want everything we do to bring Glory to God, not for the glory of our church name or reputation or to elevate ourselves individually. "Whatever you do, do all for the Glory of God." I Corinthians 10:31

  • gospel impact

We want to always seek to pursue the goal of impacting the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes." Romans 1:16

  • people matter

We are convinced that God values every human soul and that Christ died for each one.  We want to be a place where everyone feels included and valued.  "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.:  John 3:16

  • PRAYER POWER

We believe in the power of prayer and that we can do nothing of ourselves apart from God.  We will pray for God's direction for our church, healing for the suffering, salvation for the lost and wisdom in all things.  "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit." Ephesians 6:18

  • discipleship

We are committed to providing avenues for believers to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." II Peter 3:18 through the study of God's Word which comes through the preaching and teaching of the Word, Small Groups, Personal Study and Prayer.

  • JOY

The Bible tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people.  We want to be a place where people can see the joy of Christ on our faces, hear laughter, receive a hug or handshake and relax in the freedom and joy that is ours in Jesus! Psalm 100

  • Excellence

The Bible teaches us that God is deserving of all praise, honor and glory and deserves our best in serving Him.  We want to exhibit excellence in every area, big or small, of service and ministry at the Grove..."Whatever you do, whatever your task may be, work from the soul, that is put in your very best effort, as something done for the Lord." Colossians 3:23 (AMP)
